Welcome to the
Campbell River Friendship Quilters Guild
There are few crafts that are more versatile and satisfying than quilt making. It combines so many techniques and procedures that it inspires a quilter to tackle one project after another.
Whether it is a simple quilt or a work of art that has been designed by the maker, a tremendous sense of satisfaction is felt when it is completed. With so many variations of patchwork, quilting and applique, a quilter is never bored but can go from strength to strength creating more and more beautiful quilts.
The goals of our guild are to promote the art of quilting by offering inspiration and education; to use the art of quilting to respond to the needs of the community and to cultivate friendly relationships and camaraderie.
We host Quilt Shows, and we hold fabulous workshops several times a year, for all levels of experience and skill. Check our events page for up and coming activities.
Our Community Project Committee works toward donating quilted items to the Campbell River Hospital Gift Shop, Ann Elmore Transition House, and the Second Chance Recovery House or whenever a need is identified.
